Publication Process
The Global Economics & Finance Insights (GEFI) follows a transparent and rigorous publication process to ensure the quality, originality, and integrity of published research. Authors are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the process before submitting manuscripts.
1. Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system or via email (as specified in the guidelines).

Submissions must adhere to the journal’s formatting and referencing requirements.
2. Initial Screening

The editorial office conducts a preliminary review to check the manuscript’s relevance, originality, structure, and compliance with the journal’s scope and ethical standards.

Manuscripts failing to meet the basic requirements may be returned to authors for revision or declined.
3. Plagiarism Check

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold will be returned to authors or rejected.
4. Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, where at least two independent experts evaluate the paper’s quality, methodology, and contribution.

Reviewers provide constructive feedback to guide authors in improving their work.
5. Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ comments, the editor may make one of the following decisions:

Accept as submitted

Minor Revision

Major Revision

Reject

Authors are notified of the decision and, if revisions are required, must respond point-by-point to reviewers’ comments.
6. Revision & Resubmission

Authors submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe.

Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review if necessary.
7. Final Acceptance & Copyediting

Once accepted, the manuscript goes through copyediting and formatting to ensure clarity, style consistency, and compliance with journal standards.
8. Proofreading & Author Approval

Authors receive page proofs for final review before publication.

Only minor corrections (e.g., typos or formatting issues) are allowed at this stage.
9. Online Publication

The final version of the article is published in the upcoming monthly issue of the journal.

Articles are made available online with a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for global access and citation.
